Fairings from Hong Kong!!!!

Anyone bought these from ebay? shipping comes out from Hong Kong ($225) plus the cost of the fairings/panels.

I believe the company is (ebay stores) auctmarts.
The quality looks amazing, but before I buy, I would like some feedback first.

LPSO motor patrol accident

A good friend of my family who's a motor patrol officer for LPSO was involved in an accident involving his motorcycle and a vehicle. This was this morning at walker south and pendarvis. They told me that between LPSO and Baton Rouge his escort to the hospital was about 5mins. He left the accident with numerous head injuries and details of everything was not known.

I got a call earlier stating that he does have bleeding of his brain and that he was being admitted into the OLOL. He was oriented and joking with everyone the whole way. So he is in good spirits and still with us thankfully.

I will give and update when I hear of it through out the evening. :-)

I just bought a crf450x, and my wife has decided to move up to a crf150F, so these bikes must go.

Both bikes are VERY clean. Anyone who knows me, knows that I ride my bikes hard, but maintain them the same if not more.

The 1996 Suzuki RM 250 belonged to Michael, the lead yamaha tech at Friendly. He and his wife had a baby a few years ago, so the bike sat for a while. I aquired it from him, and completely went throught the bike. It is completely stock with the exception of the FMF can, a new air filter, and a set of handlebars. Im not positive, but I think the top end is the original. The bike is strong and Richie can attest. He and I made some laps at moore park with it..... on knobbies.

That being said, it will need tires, and the front wheel needs to be trued. I can do that, just haven't taken the time.

I'll try to get some pics up if there is any interest. The bike is at a friends house in Prairieville at the moment.

I'm aksing $1000.

The XR650R is a beast, plain and simple. Several months ago, FeelerguagePhil drove to Florida to buy this bike, after riding my Husky. The owner worked at a Honda dealership, and had vigorously maintained the bike. Shortly after bringing it home, Phil loaned the bike to a friend to ride with several other motards. During the ride, the chain broke and busted the case. Michael at Friendly, rebuilt the motor with a new engine case. I stopped by several times during the rebuild, and every time, Michael commented about how shaocked he was at the cleanlyness and lack of wear on the internals.

The bike was put back together with the high comp piston, and stage 2 cam that was in the bike at the time of purchase. The bike also has a full FMF exhaust, and several other bits that I cannot recall at the moment.

After trading bikes with Phil for a few minutes, I convinced him to trade me for my Husky.

I have made a few rides with it since then. Tyler, Jake, Respect, Phil, and Roddy can all attest to how strong this bike is. On the street/track, it is a hand full. I had hoped to be able to ride it in the woods a little easier than my Husky. It doesn't serve that purpose as well as I would like, so I bought the 450X.

The XXR is street legal, and I have both, a very expensive set of street wheels and brakes, as well as the factory dirt wheels.

This bike was a great deal for Phil at $5500 less than a year ago, but all things considered with the economy, I'l sell everything for $4500., or the bike in dirt trim for $3800.

I'm working late every weekday of this month, so I will try to have pics up this weekend.

2008 Ninja 650r

I'm selling my 2008 Kawasaki Ninja 650r. It runs perfectly and runs very smooth. Starts everyday with no problem at all. It has 8148 miles on the bike. I'm asking $3500 or best offer. I will include a helmet and some brand new handlebars that are lower than stock. The previous owner did drop the bike once, but there's no major damage. Just scratches and scrapes on the paint around the front fender which you can see in the pic. Tires and mirrors are brand new. The bike does run perfectly though, just has the scratches, send me some offers or if you have any questions. thanks!

caught in the rain...

And it sucked!! This was my first time ever riding in the rain(on the street) and it absolutely sucked. I don't know how you guys (that ride in the rain a lot) do it. They called for 10% chance of rain, so I rode the bike to work. Was nice all day till 30 min before punchout time and it got dark...right in the direction I was going. I made the gamble and left thinking I could beat it. Not a chance. The sky opened up and it was pouring...hard. I had on a mesh jacket and I was freezing. Ended up stopping at a gas station to let some of it pass, but I still had 40 miles to go home, and it rained for about 25 of those miles. The only part of me that stayed dry was my head. I hope to never have to experience that again.

Im posting up for a friend, he has a jardine fender eliminator kit with signals for sale. List is 90 hes asking 60 obo. This kit has a metal bracket that runs under the can and has the spot for the stalk signals and a plate holder. I know it fits 05-06 cbr RR's im not sure about older models. Anybody interested?
